Junior or Intermediate Audit & Assurance Team Professional

As a full-time member of our Audit & Assurance service team, there will be plenty of opportunities to ‘stretch yourself’ with value-added activities. Working closely with an excellent group of quality clients, you should be well on your way toward a CPA designation and possess the personal presence and technical expertise to inspire confidence with others. Having already completed your initial degree, you have also acquired some previous practical accounting experience and are now set to learn how to excel in delivering positive client experiences.

Your energy and drive should ideally be combined with superior bilingual communication skills nurtured over at least 1-2 years of accounting experience. You possess sound business judgment and have a thirst to succeed in this challenging role where we expect you to grow your career as a member of our profession.

Role Profile - SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Audit/review of financial statements.
  • Preparation of financial statements and notes thereto.
  • Financial and systems analysis.
  • Corporate and personal income tax returns.
  • Active participation as part of field assurance engagement teams.

Technical Expertise and Experience

  • Must be actively working toward a CPA designation, following completion of your CFE;
  • A minimum of at least 1-2 years of full-time accounting work experience, preferably in a public accounting firm;
  • A strong preference for wanting to work in a mid-size professional firm environment to further develop your career.
